Blue Mountain Jug
In typical Blue Mountain fashion, this jug is nothing less than breath taking. The classic blue-green drip glaze on black being their most popular and well known. This glaze was also the most produced, running from the 70's to when the company shut down in 2004. This jug is stamped on the bottom, to show true authenticity. Blue Mountain used the red clay out of Collingswood, Ontario for most of their pottery. It's another one of BMP's calling cards.
Left on it's own, to shine in all it's glory, brings a wonderful hint of retro. Dried flowers or live plant clippings can add an extra bit of flair, if you so wish. Either way, add it to the collection, or have it as a stand alone piece. It's gonna be unique and eye catching.
This jug is in very good condition with no chips. There is some crazing in the glaze though, which in not unusual for older pottery.
This is a used, vintage item and is sold AS IS. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me.
