Dark Moon Macrame

This piece represents the Dark Moon phase; the three or so days before the New Moon.  This may slow down, the Moon's light dim.  Beauty is still there, even if shrouded in the dark.  The black of the moon and the flowers on this wall hanging show that.  Several beautiful points of Smoky Quartz is tucked within the flowers, helping to clear away that negativity and reflect on your moon phase, to let go of what you need to and to see that which you may want to work on in the upcoming phase.  

Made entirely with materials sourced from local and/or small businesses.  The recycled cotton cord features flecks of color, which is from the recycled fibers used to make it.  It comes from a small, woman owned and operated business out of Rossland, BC, called Aster and Vine.  Three of the four smoky quartz points are Brazilian Smoky Quartz, and rutilated as well!  The very very fine quality crystals on this piece come from Silver Cove in Calgary, Ab.  These crystals are gorgeous!
