Add a splash of the 70’s to your home with these two sweet little leaf dishes from another classic Canadian pottery, McMasters. They specialized in drip glaze, not unlike the well-known BMP. While they may be alike, drip glaze makes each piece one-of-a-kind. The green bleeds softly down the sides of the dish, yet shows off the rich chocolate brown pooled in the center of each leaf.

McMasters had many more styles and glaze colors. What really set them apart was the gold inscriptions, making these unique souvenirs. Both these dishes are inscribed with Amhurst, NS (Novia Scotia). Only one has the original McMasters sticker though.
Use them as a spoon rest to liven up your stovetop. Never lose your earrings or rings when using a little dish to keep them collected. Want a nature-inspired dish to show off your tumbled crystals or cute air plants? These are those!

Both dishes are in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. The glaze has very little crazing, which is awesome considering their age (made in late 1970’s). Know that all vintage items are sold AS IS. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
