Seashell Figurines

Need a little reminder of the beach?  Want a unique vintage chachki to add some pizzazz?  Well, these are it!  They're little animals made from little tiny seashells and googly eyes.  One is most definitely a fish.  The other is a debate.  I think Cat.  Some people have said dog or fox.  Really, I think it's up to you to decide.  These little things seemed to be popular in the late 1970's, '80's and early '90's.  I do recall many of my parents friends having at least one, if not a couple, of them in their houses. 

The Cat has sunny tan, beige and cream colors, while the fish is a cooler white and greys, with a slight iridescent blue over the whole piece.  They don't have any sort of markings to know where they came from, but it's pretty clear, they were made by two different makers.  The Cat is in pretty good shape with one missing shell on the bottom, by it's tail.  There are very few broken shells, if any.  The fish has seen better days, but is in good condition as well.  There are more broken shells, which you can see in the pictures, on it's sides.  It's not too noticeable and blends well. 

These are vintage, second hand items and are sold AS IS.  The Cat is in very good condition and the fish is in good condition.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
